Homework and class work (10pts): Will be assigned almost daily and credit will not be given for homework not completed upon entry into the classroom, or for class work not turned in by the assigned time. Quizzes(30pts) Tests (100pts): Make-up quizzes/tests due to an absence must be done within two days of the original test, and make-ups will be a different format from the original. It is your responsibility to coordinate with me for an acceptable time for missed tests Laboratory/Projects (100pts): Labs and projects are typically done with a partner; However, all associated pre-labs/pre-planning and laboratory/project reports need to be completed and submitted for individual grading. The purpose of working with a partner is to conduct the experiment and collect data only! It is your responsibility to coordinate with me for an acceptable time to make-up for missed labs or projects due to an absence. Note: ALL work may be turned in ahead of time for pre-grading. If the student does not like the pre-grade they may make any necessary corrections up until the due date/time; therefore, 100% should be possible for most assignments. |
